Overall principles: All teams will have at least 5 games during the weekend – actually almost all teams will have at least 6 games during the weekend. The winner of a match is found after 2 won sets – a possible third set is played till 15 (with +2 ballpoints).
Both Saturday and Sunday the games start at 9 am. Saturday the latest games are planned to start at 6 pm. Sunday the latest games are planned to start at 3 pm
Please !! Be present and ready for playing your games on time – even also as referee, be keen on executing the games to start on time. If needed, please reduce preparation activities (smash etc) before game start !!! – If needed even start the game without pre-smash!!!
Please remark – by major delays executing the games on one or more courts the local tournament director is authorized executing initiatives to optimize the conduct of the tournament timeline to prevent even more delays. One of these initiatives could be starting set 1 and 2 at 7-7 and set 3 at 5-5 (this initiative cannot be initialized in the under-age-20 tournaments).
During lunchtime: Please enjoy the lunch in the area nearby where it is handed out and preferably NOT in the playground area. If your team has an officials-task (referee etc.) during the lunchtime hours you may have to organize a split – part of the team having lunch first and then come back taking over the officials task to let your team mates have lunch as well.
Dinner MUST be eaten at the same address as you sleep.

Principles for scores and ranking in the pools
Winning a match will give 2 points for the winner and 0 for the looser.
Rankings in the pools is decided by:
- Number of points
- Won minus lost sets in total
- Won minus lost balls in total
- The result of the in-between match (team A vs team B)
Jump serve
When doing jump serve it will be allowed to cross the serve line if the approach is less than three meters. In the Dalum sports gym, there are markers indicating this. In the other gyms there are no markers or 3 meter approach is available. Make sure that this is communicated to both teams by the referee before the start of each match so confusions are avoided. The Danish coaches kindly assist our friends from Norway, Sweden and Germany.
Exceptions to age and sex
Kindly also note that various exceptions as to age and sex have been granted to a few teams. The exception has been given under the criteria that the player is not decisive for the result of the match. If you have players to which exceptions have been granted, please inform the coach of the other team about this before the match.
Enjoy !!
